Why a career in project management?<\/h2>\n\n

Project leaders are those who understand the course of the project itself from its beginning to its end. Because as a project manager you are involved in all phases from the Initiation phase to the Closure phase, it is very likely that you are the only person within the project team who has a complete picture and thus control over the project.<\/p>\n\n

As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of industries because, in essence, all the skills required to be a successful project manager are transferable across industry boundaries. The opportunities for career advancement are enormous. According to the Project Management Institute\u2019s Talent Gap Report 2017, there will be a need for 2.2 million new project-oriented applications in the US alone by 2027.<\/p>\n\n
