Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®

Training for the CAPM is an introduction to the methodology and concepts of project management that is designed to distinguish you and your firms in the job market and enhance your credibility and effectiveness working on projects or project teams. The CAPM is an asset that will help you stand out to potential employers and will also improve the function and performance of a firms’ project teams.

What will I do during the training?

During the CAPM exam preparation course we will address the five project management process groups – from the start-up of the project to its closure. Furthermore, we will address the underlying phases of a project life cycle and focus on the main tools and techniques related to project management methodology. After the training, you will be able to:

Earn the required training hours to take the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® examination.
Learn how to apply for the exam and the resources that are available to you as an accredited PMI and PMI Slovenia member.
Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close a project.
Understand and manage all project participants.
Manage a project with a view to achieving business goals.
Understand the processes necessary for the successful completion of a project.
Ability to decide on the methodology and approaches to a project.

Location

The exact location of the course will be determined on the basis of enrollment in the course and will also be communicated to you before the course. However, the course will take place in Ljubljana.

Duration and Dates

3 days, 12, 15-16 September 2022, 9:00-17:00. This course and the CAPM examination are held in English.

Instructor

The course is delivered by Michael Belicic PMP, past President of PMI Slovenia and an experienced project manager and trainer, who has delivered project management courses across the CEE for over 10 years.

Material

The course uses The Crosswind Success Series: CAPM® Exam Bootcamp Manual with Exam Simulation Application (V6.0) which provides a foundation for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam product line. It comes complete with a 150 question ONLINE exam simulation application and 50/100 question ITTO (inputs, tools & techniques, outputs) exams created with over 1,400 ITTO questions in the database. For success in the CAPM® exam, we recommend additional material: PMBOK® Guide.
